You’ve got to be joking. You can’t be serious. And yet he was serious. This wasn’t part of an episode on the possible third season of Swerved, and the ring he held in the box was anything but a fake one. It was real. From the material that wrapped on her finger to the gem that sat on the top of it. The Phenomenal One was down on a knee, one-hundred percent serious about what it was that he was asking the female. “I’m serious.” He emphasized his own actions to insure her that this was in no way him joking around. Allen wanted to call her, this woman who was sadly once just his ‘side chick’ at one point, his new wife. “Saraya-Jade, will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?” And he asked it again as he looked up at her with the blues while waiting for some kind of answer. And then he got an answer. Actually, no. It wasn’t just an answer. It was the answer. The answer that he hoped to hear. It was a resounding yes. His lips curved up in the corners, wearing a smile to end all other smiles. And he didn’t even say anything in return, rather only reaching out to take hold of her hand so that he could slip the ring onto the respective finger it was meant to be on. To top it all off, once he rose to his feet, the Phenomenal one gently cupped her face and lowered his lips down onto the lips of his now fiancee.

The door to their shared hotel room closed and it was almost like a trigger. Right as it happened, Allen took the pale-skinned Brit by the arm and spun her around, quickly pressing his lips down onto hers for a kiss before she could even figure out what it was he was doing. They were just out with not only Allen’s Club mates, but a few of Saraya’s friends at all. And Allen wasn’t the type for a lot of public displays of affection, so going the entire night without anything felt almost like a legal form of torture for himself.
