This is me opening up, This is me telling you, Screaming to you The cold hearted truth I’ve lost all sense of myself My mind shatters as I partially view my life In full HD. Not paying full attention to the story, I exist as a spectator. The past decade of events, The never ending trauma Has hollowed out but a husk That strives to be whole again. My mind at war, Every opinion conflicting itself. I am sure of nothing. My thoughts are refugees Which rarely escape. When they do, they’re charred And incomprehensible. And I’m lost for words, Venting to a screen at three in the morning. Because sleep, She does not call for me when I need her. I keep myself amused with these Faux-arts, fantasising of the moment Someone realises I’m not okay. Colours crash through me As I jump in my sleep. Red lights with sharp tendrils Clutch my arms and legs, Dragging me underwater. Emerald eyes in the back Of my mind, judging my Remaining thoughts. Cyan ice freezing me over, As I further lose myself. Yellowing pain in my back, Keeping me from standing up For myself. Such vibrant colours But as they combine and mix together It all becomes grey. Dark, cold grey. A concrete wall barricading in My potential for happiness. This is not a clever construction Of colliding words.
