I actually found the original Pibby short to be fairly trite. "tv shows but corrupted!" is really overdone, and would work even less if it was adapted to a full series, because obviously they could never secure all the property rights to actually use all those characters.

So Adult Swim's prank for this year somehow manages to be even worse than [adult swim jr], because at least that had full voice acting and newly animated bumps. Even if it was only 2 shows and stuffed to the gills with Wendy's ads.

Whatever happened to things like GemmuSetto MacchuPicchu or the usual Pilot Previews?

just read "chili and the chocolate factory". highly recommend it to insane people and anyone who has read enough of Roald Dahl to not immediately balk at the shocking portions.

I have been watching Psych on dvd over the course of the past 2 years, and have just gotten to season 6. For anyone in the fandom, was the dip in quality as apparent between "Yang 3 in 2D" and "Shawn Saves Darth Vader" as it was for me? Like, even putting aside the new, and terrible, cinematography choice. The thing is rife with melodrama, and the mystery plot is both extremely dumbed down and the final twist comes from outta nowhere.
