So I'm at Starbucks right now, just sippin'/chillin'/studying. And there's this guy right in front of me, who's looks incredibly stressed out. As if he's going to rip his hair out. I decided to hone in on his phone conversation, and apparently-- he lost a lot of money in terms of his recent investments or something? He's like in his mid-twenties, so I'm sure this guy will be fine.
But y'know what I realized? Watching other people when they're so unnerved... surprisingly makes me feel less stressed. Haha it's weird, I usually mirror other people's emotions. Sorta like when someone's sad, I'll empathize with them; when someone's happy, I'll share their happiness with 'em as well. But when it comes to seeing others so uptight... I feel more relaxed. More in-control. And a lot more de-stressed.
Got more sleep last night than usual. I feel better! :) The parentals keep checking up on me, which is way too nice of them. Can't wait to go home soooon.
Water Tower Campus block party was today; got lots of free food/photobooth shots.
Now it's time to head back downtown to get a bunch of stuff done!
