Hunting wasn't the kind of job that was gentle on the body. As Dianna slid onto the bar stool, she took a breath and let her muscles relax. That was what she was here for, a little relaxation, a little booze, and a little bit of forgetting.
There was always forgetting. One way or another, she always had something to forget, something that needed buried under a layer of thick intoxication and hangovers. Dianna wrapped her hand around the glass and took a sip, noticing the person next to her for a moment.
"What're you looking at?" she asked, setting the glass back down.
