It’s nighttime in Seoul - something that Kai hasn’t seen with his own two eyes in quite a while. He chuckles under his breath when Jongin - the little imp - snores quietly, the rumbling sound making a nice backdrop to the roar of the traffic.
”Don’t be so loud, Jongin. I need to hear myself think.” he murmurs under his breath, strolling past the streetgoers as he stuffs his hands into his pockets. Cold.
”Mmf…fmmlsdfkjm.” Jongin responds, restlessly poking around in Kai’s mind. Heh. He grins, too distracted by the kid sleeping in his head to notice much else— but, hey. Someone just asked him a question.
”Ah— I do believe so, hold on a bit.” Kai replies, managing to fish a small, handheld lighter from a jean pocket. Damn, just how much stuff does Jongin keep in here? He gives a genuine smile in reply - the other’s vibe of piss off doesn’t do much to dampen his mood - and holds the flickering fire a respectable distance away from the tip of her cigar.
Whatever that is annoying her, it's not him nor anything else in her surroundings. Most of the time, it's herself that she's annoyed at which is weird and not even close to understandable. Min is one step away from telling him that it is okay and she will find a lighter somewhere else but the flame surprises her and almost makes her jump. She wasn't quite ready for that.
To not spill any more of her time, she leans in and lights the cigar carefully, turning to take a deep breath and exhale it downwards towards her own shoes. It is the best day for relaxation with smoke and perhaps a coffee but Min has other things to do, things to prepare for and work to deliver. Such stupid things that can wait another day if emergency.
The chances of him wanting to talk more to her if she utters another word is scaring her, it's not her choice to have the siren voice that her mother 'blessed' her with as a baby -- it just happens to attract any human male and female which is such a bad thing to match with a person like her whose persona won't allow her to do anything around strangers. The word she whispers out is barely audible but there just for him. "Thanks."
