-TIP OF THE SPEAR- The image is meant to be allegorical and represent the idea that we are the tip of a spear with our ancestors representing the length of the spear hurling us forward through our lives, acting as a driving force. This ancestral driving force manifests itself both physically in our DNA and gene expressions passed down to us, and by the fact that every action taken by those who lived before us all added up to our lives here in the present. As the current, living embodiment of all those other lives lived, you are the tip of the spear. You are the one living in the present who can act and determine the direction and impact of the spear. Each individual must decide whether or not their time as the spearhead will be a powerful expression of everything that came before them. Will your life be worthy of the million stories of survival, struggle, and love that led directly to your existence? Will you rise to the occasion and accept the responsibility of representing the summation of a million other lives lived, or will you simply let your time pass unaffected? In my artwork, you can see the faces of two couples holding hands. This is meant to represent the coupling of your ancestors stretching back through all branches of your family. The faces are sleeping as their time of living action has passed to you. However, they have become the roots that form the body of the spear. - The ancient Irish writing of ogham reads “tip of the spear” on the spear shaft. Be the reason for someone's happiness. If you can't make anyone happy, at least make sure not to hurt anyone. Because everyone you meet in your life is going through some sort of struggles and everyone's struggle is different from others. Maybe you see someone is smiling while you are worried, its because they chose to live the life with its struggles And you chose to struggle with it. After all, this is a temporary world and our problems too. Pray for Muslims in Palestine, Syria, Rohingya and all over the world. May Allah make it easy for everyone who is Facing struggles.
