Was she ever going to get used to this? Probably not. At least in a sense, she hoped it wouldn't. She didn't want to become indifferent to injustice after seeing the worst in people for years and years to come, and getting used to seeing those things sounded just like that to her. But she also needed to be cool-headed as there was no space for making reckless mistakes, that much she learned from her uncle, despite her not exactly listening during her late teens. She kept her eyes on their surroundings, making sure that some unpleasant surprise didn't pop up for them.
Though she did roll her eyes at the other's comment. It wasn't like the code names were their biggest problem currently, but seriously? Scooby-doo?
Hwayoung sighed and placed her bag with her go-to equipment down on top of one table that seemed as old as basically everything else in this whole building. Looking at the place, it made sense why someone might do something shady in here. The building was long abandoned and quite far away from the more busy areas in the city. But it was also quite the risk, she wouldn't be surprised if this spot was popular with urban explorers that don't know any better. "Do you think this case is something bigger than just your usual ones?" She asked, this time with a more serious tone. Although anything she said sounded like it was said with a serious tone to the people who didn't know her long enough to notice the slight differences. But back to their investigation, the first time she heard about this case it did remind her of another one that happened not too long ago. Perhaps they could be dealing with something more organized than what it tried to appear.
