Truth be told, Lori has been slyly searching for Rebecca and Ryder all evening. She saw them here and there, walking together, and the sight always made her smile to herself. The two were people she’s known since they were just children, especially Rebecca. And even if Lorianne isn’t entire susceptible to acts of openness in terms of love for the people she knows, she did love Rebecca so much. With that, it’s easy to assume that she’s feeling a tad protective, as well. There were times where she looked at Becky and still saw the young kid she used to babysit, the young girl who once trailed beyond her all day along with Annabelle.
When she finally does spot Rebecca alone, Lori is quick to job her way over to her. “Becky!” She calls out, smiling giddily. “How’s it goin’, sweetheart? He’s not being pushy is he? Boys his age do that. If he is, you can tell me. I’ll get Bash to yell at him right away.”
