You all know that I'm in love with @jvincentmakeup and his amazing artistry. I love how he brings people together and has worked hard to create a community that lifts each other up and is supportive. He and his sweet @jemmeek started a company called @rebelsandoutlaws and I'm OBSESSED! They're making handmade candles infused with their blessed intentions and crystals to help make your space, whether you're a makeup artist or not, a better place. I bought the Artists & Angels candle for creation, communication, encouragement and adaptability. I also bought Back to Black, to help release negative energy. Both of these candles are to be burned with intentions and then discard everything, stones too, when done. I love it! They also have the Rebels & Outlaws potion that can be sprayed on damp skin, to smudge the room, or to mist on brushes. There's a Quick Dry Brush Sanitizer spray, a hand sanitizer spray, cleanse and release brush soap, body scrubs and lip scrubs! I'll be featuring more items from them and highly recommend them. One of my favorite photos in a long career. Punk Glam. Back a bit and behind the scenes doing makeup and sharing a laugh with the legendary @laurajanegrace I made it through this day and a lot of the tough days lately with the strength sustenance provided by the words and lyrics of the visionary Laura Jane. I feel as if I am under attack everyday in this country. Constantly threatened and marginalized as my communities are dehumanized and morality and decency seem to disappear. In these tough times it is even more important to surround yourself with the muses and mentors, the sorcerers and sages, the sister witches and writers and artists and anarchists that are willing to stand up and say what needs to be said with pen and sword and fight the good fight.
