( she’s just so inclined to defend. sometimes she forgets herself. )

1) ben organa’s parents both are world travelers of different sorts -- leia organa was born to a scottish family, but raised in brazil by adoptive parents. han solo emerged somewhere from the canadian wilderness. ben is proud of his weird as fuck heritage.

2) he’s also not at all ashamed about being a hot topic manager. he’s good at it, the work is satisfying and simple, and he gets paid more than he should with the opportunity to basically do what he wants.

3) he had little formal education; homeschooling, world traveling with his uncle, and an emotional and mental breakdown, sort of drew him out of the whole ‘go to college and get a degree’ game.

4) he drives an electric ford fusion that no one is allowed to eat or drink in because of exposed wiring from his slow work on upgrading the operating system and computerized parts within. voided warranty be damned.

5) he has his tongue pierced, and a small collection of tattoos, including a swath of the milky way meticulously ( and painfully ) inked onto his ribs.
