Harry stumbled across the forest floor, one hand clutching his temple while the other tried desperately to gain purchase on the trunk of the tree that was currently keeping him upright. Another stab to his head came and he cried out, Uma's voice resounding in his skull as he struggled forward through the brush, away from her.
Everything hurt with every step he set but he had to fight it, or else he'd have nothing left. He already didn't though, aside from Gil, who followed her like Harry had from the time they were mere children. From the time Uma had decided to use her powers to garner a following.
But they were free now! Free from the Isle, yet not free from her, never free from her. The memories of his father were vague by now, not having seen the man since he'd been but a child, found and dragged to the Isle for his parentage alone. But he wanted— needed to go home!
Uma's magic clawed viciously at his mind, demanding obedience and his knees buckled with a scream. "No!"
