                        feet held a steady pace, in no hurry though she had somewhere to go.  they’d have to wait, for she chose the long path back to the facility ( the WRONG path ).  it was beautiful out, and who would complain from a few extra minutes?  nonetheless, fingers dialed out jo’s number, voice merry over the line, sounds of laughter tingling smiling lips.                     ❝ you’re in luck, ya know.  they had your favorite chocolate bar and since i’m feeling particularly happy today, i bought it for you.  no need to thank me now, since i’m requiring you share it with me when i get back.  see you in a few, alright?  i expect a warm welcome. ❞                     funny, how something so ORDINARY can take down someone so extraordinary.  she didn’t see the car coming until it was already upon her.  as her broken body now lay bleeding on the pavement, her last laugh still etched into a delicate profile.
