YOUR WRITING IS AMAZING I'm honestly so haunted and disturbed. It always makes me stop reading several times because I'm too excited to do it in one sitting and I have to go and pace and listen to music and then come back ten minutes later. It's amazing how excited I get when I see you updated. I actually stopped a conversation with my boyfriend and I was like "woah wait I just got an email that one of my favorite authors updated holy shit" I'm excited that you chose to pursue the one shot!

THANK YOU SO MUCH, GIRL. It’s always a pleasure to hear from you, and I’m so, so glad you enjoyed the update. I feel the same way about good books, and also good films – sometimes I feel like I just have to step away, take a breather, go pace for a while – because I’m desperate to draw out those feelings of wonder, awe, and excitement for as long as I can. That “time out” also allows me to better digest what I’m feeling and kind of process everything that’s going on in my head. I’m glad you do that, too. :)

Also, it’s so cute you interrupted your boyfriend just so you could announce that I’d updated. I’m melting a little inside. THANKS FOR THIS. <3

Bicycle!

my bike got stolen out of my front yard when i was ten. i left it there for five minutes and someone just took it. to this day we’ve never been able to find out who did it. i suspect aliens were involved
