UCLA diet...literally
Inspired by my progress coming off of the UCLA diet (which is equivalent of chronic caloric splurging at the four dining facilities on the Hill), I wanted to see this improvement through to the rest of my life with healthy living.
Here is the breakdown of your "options"...for you future bruins.
The bad thing about 11 club is that you starve to death waiting for the right time...and you'll most likely waste your money. Thus you scrounge or you feast like no other. Same could be said about 14 and 19.
With 19 premier, you are king amongst men. There will be food for you and your posse, unless of course if you don't have one then it goes to the hungry 11 club peeps waiting by the doors or to the homeless or LOTS and I mean LOTS of water/sodas... =.= or it could all go in the toilet if you are tacano/a.
The 14 premier, is your best bet when cost of living is as high as these days. You can eat lots of smaller meals to boost your metabolism, which is a plus.
Overall, I felt enslaved to the UCLA timetable which dictated when I could eat...some days I forced myself to eat just to not waste the swipes. I like UCR's system better cause half of your food allowance is set aside as currency to be used in the on-campus cafe. Do not get the off campus meal plan if you lived far away cause I had to trek to the Hill to eat every single time.
