Another Friday Fic Reccie

If you liked my previous reccie, then the second part of the Wired series is a definite choice, too.

(Words: 2,500 Chapters: 1/1, M) He may have ached for that London, those comforts and simplicities, especially once words never known and ever felt branded his memory palace, but he hadn’t meant to return. He falls into it between slips of moments, between calculated doses. Sherlock sees Watson’s smooth moustache and glimmering eyes after his first drag of sativa, his own skin coarse with facial hair he hasn’t cared to remove. The drug slips in his lungs like a chemical hug, engulfing him in warmth and otherness and he laughs. One more drag, and Watson’s there, fond and caring and play-irritated in that familiar must you insist on stomping all over London at half past one way. It’s a quick thing, a small grin real and whole, a dip of that absurd hat. Watson is gone in what could be seconds or minutes or hours or years, and with him that chemical hug evaporates too. Sherlock aches for things he’s never understood, nor wanted to want.. Sherlock needs John. Drugs offer him Watson instead.

In a note at the end, the author asked “Thoughts?” This was my reply: “"Thoughts?" You dare to ask that at the end of this heart-wrenching totally (wonderful) destruction thermonuclear device of angst? You think I am capable of thinking, rather than feeling? You underestimate the power of your words, your insight, your complete grasp of the soul of Sherlock trapped in this inner circle of hell. Utterly, utterly brilliant writing.

Location Reccie: Fish keeper

We are really happy with the location we have secured but that does not mean it is without its issues. As there are issues with the location we have come up with solutions to these problems.

Sound: 

The sound will be one of the biggest issues with the filter hum running very loudly, the best we can do is cut the low frequency of the filters and the electrical buzzing. Other than that we will have to make sure we get very clean boom sound on the day and practice with our boom operator on set.

Lighting:

the aquarium space is very dark, however, there are plug fixtures overhead and with the managers' permission we are able to set up lights within the space, this also means we have a lot more creative control over the look of the fish keeper space.
