law school 101
Aye! who would’ve believe i made it here! my 3rd year of law school will start in no time. but i don’t know how should i react. actually i pretty much happy cus i am close to get my degree BUT do i really learn something???
well i can’t say. but i will tell you what i have been learning since then;
1. law doesn’t offer you formula to figure something out, so you need to learn carefully and seriously and everything will make sense. it’s like the Theory of Causality; there’s connection amongs them the cause and the effect brings you to the red dot
2. READ NEWS. it’s an exercise! i wish i know this since day 1 but yo girl is clueless back then. well you learn something at school but soon you’re forget which one is what. and i found myself memorizing something followed by the example is way more easy. in most books you may find the example in every subject but when you don’t you can find it by yourself through news! it’s also train you critical thinking. and also you will get to know more of legal practitioner which really helpful to gain references. your welcome :)
3. DON’T RUSH OUT. it’s a reminder for me tho. it’s such a waste to try to compete with someones ability. we have different style to deal with something. and you need to know, enjoy your time please. and try to manage time wisely so you won't regret a thing in the end. well, if you sure youre in the right way and do something beneficial do it. don't look up to make you feel bad but look up to get you motivated. sometimes you need to take one step back in order to go two steps forward. the universe works and so do you.
4. take a break when you need and seek motivation. law school is quite hectic and crazy if you make it so. but it’s not! start asking yourself is it you or is it something else that cause you probs? once you figure it out start to fix it!
well, maybe that’s all i can say. i don’t Ace every single test and i do procrastinate. but that doesn’t mean i can’t improve. and please share what you have been learning at school? it might be helpful for me!
