So there is this one guy on this quite niche forum talking about Hudson. He gives pretty specific details so I’m inclined to believe he isn’t bluffing. I was also able to find his X and he talks about living in Salmon Arms and Vancouver before so it tracks. He also isn’t a HR fan, per se, so it’s not like he has some skin in the game.

*Celebrities is a club in Davie Village (often considered a gay village) in Vancouver. It’s an old school gay club has later become more mixed and mainstream but they do pride events etc.

There was also someone on Reddit claiming Katelyn being ”a swinger” and hooking up with their ex-gf. Could be completely made up ofc.

My theory is that Hudson and Katelyn are both queer and they’ve had an on-off and/or open rs for a while at least.

Yes, that's probably the source of all the rumours that's been floating around. I've heard all this before from others. I'm not sure it trust it enough to believe it.

Who knows what's real and what the nature of the relationship between K and H used to be when they were together. I can buy that they're both queer.

We know that Hudson has admitted to having internalised homophobia. If he was brought up in a homophobic place, had to hide his same sex attraction and hook ups, and moved to Vancouver and got a gf, then i see a guy who might feel shame about his same sex attraction, and who wants to fit in and be accepted, but have moments of bravery to act on his attraction to men. He's still friends with people from where he grew up, and navigating that might have been hard for him if he felt they wouldn't accept him as queer.

That might explain his on/off or open relationship with K. The question is where he stands now. It seems his time at Langara and that new friend group helped with his self-acceptance and confidence. He seems to be very self-assured, confident, open and sure in his identity now. Enough to admit to his struggles with internalised homophobia.

As we get all these leaks and glimpses of his past back in Kamloops, and we are shown the true nature of his "friends", i think that can explain a lot of Hudson's past behaviour.

There's been tension building for a while, but I'll start with where it really felt like things started to boil over: the corn maze.

On October 1st, 2025, Krisgoat made a post to the Devlog sharing that she was working on a new explore area for MM, the corn maze, and shared [this teaser image.]

Everyone was excited - cool, new area! - but the very next day, that post in the Devlog would be removed, and [this one was made]

The reference material in question is pretty easy to find, all you have to do is google "corn maze clipart," and [this is what you'll find.]

A few hours later, Krisgoat would post [this statement.]

A few days later, several ex-staff would post their statements on the forums, [starting with PrettySkitty]

[followed by r00p]

[then BeautyBurnsGold.]

I'll take a moment here to share some comments from r00p on his thread (I've censored any non-staff usernames, but if any of them are lurking and want to chime in, go for it ✨); [When asked if he knew the DD boxes he'd worked on would be returning, and if he'd been compensated.]

[A general follow-up comment from r00p.]

[When asked if he could offer any more clarity about the financial situation.]

[In response to a comment about how low the price was for how much effort it takes.]

[r00p comments that Krisgoat reached out to pay his final tab,]

which I do think it's worth pointing out that she only did so because [users in the Discord were discussing it, and Bumblebunny said she would approach Krisgoat about it.]

Krisgoat would then post a followup statement, which I did not take a screenshot of initially, and didn't get one before the site went into maintenance mode, but I did have the text copy+pasted into a word doc (to share with my cousin, who wants the tea lol), and [have a screenshot of *that.*]

A comment from r00p's (second) thread: [In response to a question on his thoughts about staff payments being delayed in order for his tab to be paid off.]

In response to a comment in the Discord hoping that nobody blames r00p for this, [Bumblebunny would chime in that nobody blames him at all,]

and he does receive comments (at least one, that I can recall) in the same vein in this thread.

Things would be quiet for a while after this, and eventually Shrine would [confirm in the Discord that a larger statement was being worked on.]

Finally, on December 5th, [Krisgoat would release this statement.]

However, one thing that wasn't addressed, that one user brought up, was the mention of "questionable company" ( Zegskeil who hosted a dogwhistle tattoo on his Vtuber avatar ) and the "threat to shut the site down" mentioned in r00p's first thread. Shrine would [eventually make this comment.]

and r00p would [respond as follows,]

and then follow up [with this comment.]

Another user would also [ask if he could confirm that he did, in fact, receive an apology from Krisgoat, as she mentioned in her statement,]

which he [does confirm that he received.]

A few days later, the Discord would be [put into read-only mode]

Users would flock to the live chat on site, and, well, I don't really have any screenshots of what started to happen, but you can see people's live reactions on the goatlingsvent blog linked by Appropriate_Ad_114, under [this tag.]

I do, however, have a screenshot of [this bombshell that was dropped in the livechat.]

Following this incident, pretty much all staff resign.

Things are rather quiet, at least on Krisgoat's side, for a while, before the [news post introducing the new admins drops.]

(yoinked from Bluesky.) After this news post, they ban one user in livechat for name dropping the goatlingsvent and kristak-throwaway accounts, put up the monthly DAG thread, and then... radio silence.

Now, people were already "press x to doubt" about these new admins not just being three Krisgoat's in a trenchcoat, or Krisgoat, her internet bf, and a streamer friend, but then, today, on the goatlingsvent blog, someone makes a submission exposing that one of the new admins and Krisgoat share an IP address, and an hour later, the site is put into maintenance mode.

And finally, the most recent update to all this, is the maintenance page for Goatlings being updated [with this Q&A.]
