things had been good-- the night was nice, and fun, and just exactly what pj would have wanted out of valentine’s day. so, why the hell was she filled with so much anger each moment oliver opened his mouth.. that didn’t seem fair-- but they couldn’t shake it, eyes settling into a glare across the table, they closed their fists around the pink glow starting to take them over. “i think i need to go home.”

So, he was just unboxing a bunch of donations when noticing the young man walking in. "Oh, hello," Castiel looked up, some donated clothes in his arms. "Is there anything I can help you with?"

as lydia would every morning since she got back in town— and, as memory serves, every morning growing up here, she stopped at the roost for a necessary caffeine fix. as she waited for her order, she found that her gaze was constantly meeting another customer's whenever she happened to look up from her phone. it could just be coincidence, but for vanity sakes she had to know why if it wasn't. "do i have something on my face or why do you keep looking at me like that?"

“do you need help?” esther asked quickly, automatically falling into big sister mode at the statement. she wouldn’t call herself the overbearing or overprotective type by any means, a little too carefree for that sort of attitude, but she could summon some of that feeling when the moment seemed to call for it. there was no guarantee she’d be able to do anything, but that wouldn’t stop her from trying. “you know i won’t get mad at you right?” it was a presumptuous statement given that she had no idea what oliver was talking about, but esther felt like it must be true. esther couldn’t imagine him doing anything bad enough to seriously upset her. “if you’ve gotten into trouble and need something, just tell me.”
