Since you and I are recklessly optimistic, let’s dream of some upcoming events: H has ditched all rings, so when he brings back that too big diamond band from 2018, it’ll really draw attention! Mostly because it’s the only one he wears now in addition to the peace ring. H also met with Stringer to make sure they’re good to go for the big CO. He’s currently planning outfits they’ll wear made by Gucci for their first magazine cover together. They’re bummed the couldn’t be at each others concerts 1

2 due to COVID-19, but they know they’ll get to see each other perform again, and even better, they’ll get to perform together on the SAME stage and interact like they’ve never been able to before. Here’s to putting really good vibes out into the universe (and a covid-19 vaccine)! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

RECKLESS OPTIMISM & CLICKBAIT

You will for sure catch me over here clowning with the best of them. My recklessly optimistic tag goes back to 2016 (maybe 2015, I can’t be fussed to check). 

I am so very here for a 1D reunion and Harry and Liam both even mentioning it in a sentence has me damn near losing my mind.

I will note, I am still (and have always been) in the camp of OT4 will reunite and tour again time undetermined. I don’t think OT5 will reunite but whoo lawd would I love to be wrong.

All of that to say, entertainment news is slow. Folks are clamoring for things to write about. We’re without tours and big events and album drops. And One Direction fans are fantastic clickbait. So, I don’t see major outlets writing about our rumors to be anything other than clickbait.

Do not get me wrong, I am excited and will continue to be excited. And I’m being careful of sources.

Hi! Sorry to bother you. I saw something yesterday that said 1D is signing or will sign to Full Stop Management but I cannot for the life of me find it again. I didn’t see it on a fan page or a personal account, it was on a major/professional/business/whatever account but I can’t remember where. So I’m assuming it’s fake since I can’t find it and I haven’t seen anyone talking about it? I just wanted to ask in case I missed something. Thank you so much!

I didn’t see that on my dash and don’t see that when I google it.

I’m all up in my feelings this week, for sure. To me, the lesson of this week is that the OT4 door is open, but the OT5 door doesn’t feel open. But also that the boys don’t seem to be ready to engage collectively. 

My general feeling is that they won’t come back until they can set their own terms. I believe the solo era is about building power and exploring creatively. I do believe OT4 will come back though. (I’d love to see an OT5 reunion, but I have less of a good feeling about it). One Direction has been unprecedented as a band, and then in their solo work.

They’ll have their pick of managers and labels when they decide to return. And who knows, they may just create all their own structure.

*I know no things about the record industry, so I have NO FUCKING CLUE in general.

Be with me on this one: Louis, Harry, and Niall will all tour in 2020. Liam will keep doing shows but has said he doesn’t want to actually headline a tour. Then we get a 1D announcement by the end of 2020. Then we die.
