There's one particular story idea that I had a little less than a year ago for a Stranger Things/Stargate SG-1 crossover that I thought could work really well in a post-STs4 canon universe, and since there haven't been many fics that combined those fandoms yet either as AUs or crossovers, I thought I might try my hand at writing my idea myself -- which was what prompted me to finally stop lurking and make both Tumblr and AO3 accounts. I do already have a partial draft, so I don't want to share specific details about the plot yet. I have gotten a bit distracted with other story ideas and doing events both because it's been fun and in the hopes of improving my writing enough to do my "big" idea justice; however, I should be able to focus on it more exclusively soon.
If I could pick someone else to write it though... there are so many talented writers that I've discovered in the past year that it would be impossible for me to select just one. Instead, I'll include a recommendation list of authors whose works I love and that I know would be able to bring my idea to life (assuming they were familiar with both shows and thought the plot was interesting enough 😄).
Everyone on this list has written complex, beautifully characterized stories in the Stranger Things universe that include engaging action scenes which generate amazing tension--this is exactly what I would hope to accomplish with my project (if I ever finish it).
