I don’t remember picking this #vinyl , I’m a compulsive buyer ( ask my bank account ) but, something like a week I remember going through my #italian section of my #recordingcollection and pulling this #faustopapetti looking a$$ artwork and saying to myself ‘’ this is some psychedelic sh*t ‘’. I mean 🤷🏽♂️look at it ! The lady and the sun ☀️ seems to slowly fusion together, her eyes look like her sense of clarity is altered 💊, and this is middle of the #seventies when #Europeanmusicians were trying their hands on every genre from #jazz to #blues #rock and #soul . I hate to say this for the #recordoftheday but don’t get your hopes high my #friends : To me the sh*t sounds like a white church group of vocalists that made into #pop by backing themselves up with lots of strings and a annoying tendency to sing in the higher register. Don’t get me wrong they have beautiful voices, but you can’t pull up at the barbecue sounding like #jesus mix with the #beegees , I’m sorry. Listen guys between These 5 lads there‘s 3 vocalists #pietrobarbella ( who also plays #organ ), #giannigalzia ( who also plays guitar) and #donatofarina ( who plays #drums and #percussions on this #album ) and they all hit the same notes. The 2 other hippie hoodlums left, #mimmo (who plays Bass) and #massimocaso (2nd guitar) try their best to take you on a trip with these #loveballads the most memorable being a song titled ‘’Angelica E Medoro’’ (4 on 5 ⭐️ I really love that track, it’s like #arabchicken , boy treat your f*ckin’ palate life is short)... Anyways that little rant was for #recordoftheday .
