Top Tips for Busy Parents!
1. Make life easy
If you can outsource it, then do! Being a parent makes life incredibly busy – not only are you organising your own life, you are keeping up with the endless chores and activities that children bring along with them. On any given day, you are a taxi driver, events coordinator, caterer, children’s entertainer and mediator!
This is why one of our Pop Goes The Party Pop Star Parties in Braintree is perfect: we take care of the entertainment, favours, food and collaborate with party suppliers so all you need to do is turn up, relax and enjoy the day!
2. Book Early
Lots of children’s entertainers and party suppliers are booked up a couple of months in advance so if you want to avoid disappointment, then it is best to plan ahead. At Pop Goes The Party, we recommend booking at least 1 month in advance and having your song choice ready at least 2 weeks before your party.
3. Create a closed Facebook ‘Event’
The beauty of Facebook is that it allows you to connect with your children’s classmates’ parents easily. By creating a Facebook ‘Event’, you can enter the date, time and location details, as well as tracking RSVP’s and posting messages in the event.
You can also link to your party venue’s Facebook page and keep an eye out for offers and details – ours is www.facebook.com/popgoesthepartyuk.com
4. Shop Local
We have all been there - those cheap decorations/sweets/costumes from eBay are all too tempting. They seem like the perfect convenience until you miss your package or your package misses your party…the arrival of a ‘You’re 8 Today!’ banner may not be so welcome the day after your little one’s birthday!
If you choose a local supplier, you are far more likely to receive your goods on time and with care and attention given to them. Reputation means everything to local businesses and they are likely to go to the ends of the earth to make sure you are happy with your goods and that they are received in good time!
At Pop Goes The Party, we collaborate with local Braintree suppliers, such as Fun Little Creations, Swee T Cones and Little Lucy’s Bakery who can help you provide crayons, sweetie cones and cakes and confectionery for your party!
5. Have Fun!
Those 2 or 3 hours will fly in and the important thing is that everyone (including the host!) enjoys themselves. By booking a Pop Goes The Party Pop Star Party, we can take care of the photos, videos, food and favours, allowing you to be fully present to enjoy your party experience!
