The low sound of the waters on a slightly windy day cooed in your ears, your head lay nuzzled into his arms. Your ‘lover’ as you’d call him; your small frame wrapped around his taller looming figure and you felt his hands caress your hair. He too knew this was goodbye..a goodbye neither of you wanted. What are the odds of meeting the one you knew was meant for you, in such a time and place, that it feels like you’ll never meet again. Star crossed lovers, the ones no one will ever know of..~

You inhaled the faint cologne that was lingering wanting to remember it as his scent and after what seemed like forever you pulled apart from the warm embrace, where Hyungwon held you like a protective guardian angel, his eyes soft as he looked down at you yet he was solemn. He held your hands not wanting to lose your touch even for a second and you looked up, despite the height difference you stayed as close as you could to feel his aura all around you. He leaned down a little letting your foreheads touch and sighed as if holding back, holding back the urge to hold you again and never let go, the urge to feel your touch to his, your lips to his, your bare skin on his. In his head he’d picture making love to you by the sunset glow from his window letting the sun kissed image of you etched forever in his memory. He broke from his trance opening his eyes and kissed your forehead in a soft kiss as he mumbled in a hush, “We’ll meet again, I promise.” His voice was low and deep the kind that would make a chill run down your spine, on any other day you’d be swayed by the passion his voice held for you but today all you could feel was his sorrow and longing in it….just like you did.

You just inhaled a deep breath breaking away taking just a step back and Hyungwon could tell you were distressed, “….no we won’t Hyungwon….we might never see each other again…” Your harsh words trailed off as you looked up to meet his gaze, tears threatening to pour down, it took so much of your will to not break down into a wailing mess, to stay composed for his sake yet your defeated body language gave it away and the words pierced his heart. His hand caressed your face as his thumb brushed the side of your cheek and he pulled you back closer, “I’ll find you…..if it’s the only promise I can make to you then remember this, that I WILL find you.” By this point your tears were already streaming down furiously as you held his words close to your heart feeling like it was a treasure you were bestowed with and didn’t want anyone to find it. The words sunk into your soul and you nodded gently letting him know you believed him, for once you let your optimism take over.

In that next moment you felt the world around you disappear into white noise, as he pressed his lips to yours in a lingering slow kiss, his lips were soft and glided against yours so effortlessly. You let yourself go in the moment not wanting to have any regrets, not caring who saw, just letting the warm glow of the sunset by the bridge soak you two into it’s misty moment. Hyungwon’s hands gently traced your frame and found your waist, seeing as you two clearly struggled a bit with the height difference, he broke the kiss making you gasp for air. In swift motion he had you lifted up and placed on the broad stone ledge with your back to the swaying humming waters. Your eyes went wide in a small moment of panic and he smiled, if anyone ever wondered what cupid’s arrow felt like? You’d tell them about his smile and how his eyes held that gleam that could pierce through anyone’s heart. His smile seemed to put your entire world into a buzz, you’d do anything to see it again. “Don’t worry, I got you.” His grip was indeed firm but in a nice assuring way, you were finally at some what the same eye level as him, his smile didn’t fade as he captured your lips again. This time it was a little more intense, more intimate and more passionate and ever so lingering. He held you in his entire embrace and you threw your arms around his neck not letting go of this moment. You never wanted to part, your heart ached at ever passing moment for time was going by like the sand from one’s palms and you desperately prayed to the lord, if there was any; who believed in your love, to let this stay forever…to let him stay forever with you..

Hyungwon watched as you disappeared into the crowd far away from the small hidden spot he was at, he saw your shoulder slump and your pacing slow down the farther you went. Not even once did you look back scared of breaking apart, he wiped away the single tear escaping him and finally looked away, this time letting the tears stream down without a word. He told himself he’ll cry his heart out right now but after this he wouldn’t let anyone even know of his hurt. Hyungwon would never know you had broken down when you parted ways with him, the crowd you disappeared into was witness to a stranger crying as you pushed past them hurrying to your home. You had some concerning looks and heads turn to your way, some soft mumbles of kind folk asking you if you were okay but you just walked past them never looking back.

Your heart was stuck in a lump and your fingers fiddled away at your clothes while you watched on as the young male flirted with another woman. That devilish side smile, his crop leather jacket, the two minimalist rings on his fingers, the way he took a swig of his alcohol. But then his attention landed on you and he arched a brow, his brow piercing peeked from under the few bangs that escaped his beanie. The woman with him walked away then with his number, you watched and his brows furrowed seeing you there like that. He wasn’t pleased…

“It was just a kiss babe.” His words trailed off while he leaned against his bike having a smoke in the chilly night air of the mountaintop town. You had no response, not outwardly at least and your eyes brimmed. ‘It was my first…my first kiss’. You thought to yourself. Your feet walked on their own, turning on their heel as you walked away briskly and the farther you went the faster the tears streamed down.

How would you explain that it didn’t matter, nothing really mattered except for hoping that he had meant it in that moment. 'Too naive are we?’ The inner you spoke back and you knew better. Your were not an adventure to be chased, a heart break people sought out, you weren’t anything like the nightly escapades some craved. But you weren’t sunshine and rainbows either….you were just mundane, still, boring

Silent tears trickled down as you sat still by the window ledge of your room. A simple friendship broken so easily by a single kiss, like a damaged thread that was barely hanging on.

Your eyes noticed the little backpack you had made, you knew he wouldn’t show up not even a chance. Stargazing was the plan, over by the hidden spot you two had discovered when you two had gone ghost hunting like a bunch of teenagers who should’ve known better.

So you went alone, by yourself, up the hills, through the dense woods and just past the ancient shrine you had come to love. You laid down on a blanket over the lush grass and was in awe at how the night sky came alive. A crescent moon hung through a few clouds that were starting to dissipate and the stars came to life like diamonds studded on a velveteen galaxy. It was enough to make you forget yet…tears slipped away even when your expressions held nothing, deadpan just watching lady night. If she existed she’d witness every tear drop glimmer faintly like the stars that were too far away in her sky, the ones no one can see but they are there always.

You’d broken so beautifully and he knew…he knew the damage was done, he put you through the same fate he had fucking sworn never to put his enemies through either, but then why’d he do that? Break you the same way he had been broken once…

You woke up to the sound of a roaring motor bike. It took you a minute to figure out that you were out in the woods by yourself…it was dangerous…very dangerous. The town was infamous for some of its dark and absurd tales, something that had drawn you both here, that had been the reason for your friendship in the first place.

You noticed the figure of a familiar boy walk up the hill, huffing and furious when he saw you. When he finally saw you..

“Fucking hell woman where the fuck have you been?!” He spoke all upset and annoyed. “We looked everywhere for you! Even your phone’s off!” He was furious and you were very confused as you just watched him saunter up to you. You stumbled back a step seeing how close he got, “You had me running laps around the town just to find you….”

“And I care why?” you asked quite honestly but it really sounded a lot different to him and he caught up his breath and pulled out a cigarette to light up. You watched how his cheeks hollowed at the inhale and you’d be lying if you said it didn’t do things to you. Dangerous, sensuous, destructive and utterly chaotic things but you too were surprised at your resolve or maybe it was just you holding back subconsciously as always.

He looked up at you with that look in his eyes and took a deep drag of his nicotine, he clicked his tongue at your question before responding “And you care because you and I both know it wasn’t just a kiss.”

It was like cupids poisoned arrow right through your heart. You were a little too stunned at his words to notice as he dropped the unfinished cigarette and smothered it into the dirt with his shoe.

The light of it flickered away as he had stepped forward and very cautiously and slowly leaned in to let his lips brush against yours. His fingers grazed over the side of your face waiting for your response and you gave in immediately, you’d broken so beautifully for him.

His kiss was deep and passionate like the depths of the oceans, the spark in his soul equivalent to the stars that witnessed how he consumed you whole, your heart, soul, being and all. He made sure to let you know he was in no rush about anything, his feelings, your new found relation or the growing tension in the air, he’d take it so sweet and slow baby.

Swollen and bruised lipped and with your aching core, he finally broke the kiss letting you catch your breath. “If we get caught for public indecency after this babe I’m blaming it all on you.” He teased in that deep lust hazed voice as his hands searched his back pocket for a familiar square wrapper and you knew you had been ravaged by the storm known as Changkyun. There was no turning back and if you were quite honest you had surrendered, bruised kneed and all~

You whimpered muffling your moan with your face smothered into the pillow. You were so close, he had you so close again and he willingly slowed down with his strokes watching your pleasured face moan his name. Morning came with a look of exhaustion upon Wonho due to having to get up early to work, his blond hair was tousled and he still wore his workout attire except he finished early and fixed himself some black coffee. He heard the patter of your feet and a smile tugged at his lips when he felt you approach him from behind and throw your arms around him. He lifted his arm to get you under his wing and pressed a firm kiss to your head. You had sleepy eyes too but you were beaming, it'd been forever since you stayed over. "Shouldn't you be asleep?" He asked while naturally reaching to make you a cup of creamy coffee, just how you liked. You shook your head like a kid, "I just want to be around you, you'll be gone again and I'll get busy." You complained while helping him out and eventually taking over and he let you, he preferred your coffee anyway. He leaned back by the counter and tried not to get worked up by seeing you covered in his little love notes that littered your skin in different places. But then he eased past the needy emotions of taking you then and there, his gaze lingered too long and he started to worry 'what if you both fell out of love' but then he saw you turn to him with two mugs and he took his while you sat up on the counter like a happy little kid on a Sunday morning and he realized and saw how things fell into place, it felt whole to him. Your first sip lead you to get all the milky foam on your lips and Wonho smiled widely giggling a bit and as if out of instinct he leaned in to kiss it off your lips. It was playful, romantic and sweet and both of your cheeks were flushing red and then you heard him say, 'I love you’ against your lips.

Through the midnight haze of a restless drunk love sleep, you opened your eyes at the shifting weight beside you. A wave of relief washed over you as you reached out your arms and your love was falling into your embrace holding you firmly against him. You buried your face in the crook of his neck and felt sleep come to you easily.

He scrolled through his phone as his brows furrowed at seeing the list of messages, it was very bothersome to him but he had forgotten your velcro hug. You hadn’t let him go at all and his lack of response made you pout as you looked up at him with those puppy eyes. When he still didn’t notice, you tip toed, though you still couldn’t reach his height and he finally noticed you and a smile came to his lips. “Ugh why are you so cute its almost disgusting.” He teased in his gruff sleepy voice and you giggled with that child like gleam in your eyes. He would soften every time he saw you like that, he loved you so much, so deeply, so protectively. He’d pray the heavens to never let the gleam in your eyes go out. He bent down reaching your level and kissed you so tenderly and sweetly holding your face delicately in his palms. That day had been merciful, you had had fun after ages, you enjoyed the underground concert your friend had dragged you to. You had been to many of these but it had been a while since you saw someone spit fire like that, about the realities of life instead of talking about money fame and sheit or how self made one was. No this guy was talking about things that hit his audience right where it hurt, touché, well played you had thought when you later dwelled on the memory. It was that very night you had come home to find your sorry excuse of your now ex boy friend with another woman. You'd gone numb, you didn't even make a scene or anything, just quietly grabbed your only belonging, your leather jacket and left. The trash took itself out but damn had he swooned you once. Acted like a fucking sweetheart and made you see rainbows and sunshines but in reality he didn't even have the nerve. You can tell when you start spending everyday with someone, the cracks and holes in their foundation yet you still gave him a chance. You walked into the club that was less chaotic than the usual places. It was a personal favorite spot, you were leather clad but you tossed your jacket away revealing your paint smeared aesthetic white tank top, a faint hint of a nipple bar exposed itself under the fabric as you leaned in from the couch in an almost empty booth. Before you a performer swayed and danced, a customer was a customer right and you paid fairly, just to see someone dance their worries away for you. Except this woman wasn't dancing for you today, across the podium was another figure, clad in a hood. The woman turned to leave and the boy pulled back his hoodie a little, you recognized him and with that came crashing memories. You were at his concert when that scum cheated on you. Too lost in your memories you didn't hear him call you out, he was amused at how his voice didn't get any attention, that was rare. He walked up on the podium before crouching down before you and you noticed breaking out of your trance, god he was gorgeous, he looked like bad news, cute yet deadly with the way he flashed that smile. His eyes definitely stopped to admire the faint silhouette of your nipple bar. 

Fuck that was so hot to him. 

There was silence and a weight in the air, the tensions growing wordlessly and you leaned back on the leather couch, almost like as if he was your little betch right now about to put on a show. "You were at my show." He spoke and you found his voice was deeper, a contrast to his pretty face. "Is that your usual pick up line baby boy." You retorted tilting your head ever so lightly, your messy color faded hair fell unkemptly to one side. "Baby boy? I don't hear that often." He chuckled amused and you could see he liked the power play. You stood up finally and walked up over to where he was sat on the edge of the podium. You did something to him, he wasn't used to it, used to being at the receiving end  and being a heartbroken person’s lover. But he was drawn to you like a moth to a flame, you'd become another reason for him to go and taint someones pure heart red with blood one day.
