Big news on my front: I got accepted into an art exhibit! The Recycle Art Show, has to be 80% recycled material, so I made a self portrait out of old pill bottles. I went to the show last year and I’ve seen some of the artists that get in, and I cannot believe that they think I’m in the same league as these people. But I am pretty damn excited. It’s only the second time I’ve ever submitted and it’s the first exhibit I’ve ever been in (since my high school art show, where I did win 3rd place in sculptures for my papier-mâché punk rock head, lol). The opening reception is this Friday, the exhibit will be up for a month.

- yes, it's trash. But also art, namely trash art, actually the trashiest of them all.

If you wondered where I got the idea: the concept was born in an utter burst of futile wasting of time, a.k.a. being underchallenged in school (as usual)... I had to challenge myself with inventing something that makes that hell of place, anti-education, stupefaction and political propaganda, namely school, a bit more bearable.

This is how you cure boredom; with useless theoretical nonsense fueled by curiosity paired with creating futile inventions!

Artur Bordalo created fascinating 3D art using junks. Yes! This raccon is made out of various discarded objects such as car bumpers, metal parts, tires and other junks.This is what I love about art. You can use anything to make anything!
