- Scarlet's Introduction: A New Chapter.-
"... A girl appeared in Fabletown. You can see her cycling around, in parks, or simply bolting across the roads on her scooter.
Many are still trying to process her arrival. It has been decades since another Fable had joined their community, many were lost, many still lived opressed in their former homes.
And still, she is here. Not alone, but with those of her blood, three women trying to make sense of the modernity of New York City.
She is always knocking on doors, delivering fresh baked treats with a warm smile and good spirit. Warm, kind... Innocent, almost.
Perhaps it was because of the isolation she lived in for decades, still naive to the ways of this new society... Or perhaps, it's a glance of something deeper: An unbreakable spirit that refuses to bow to the grim reality of this life.
Whatever it is, doesn't really matter. She changed, yet stayed the same. Those green eyes spoke of both gentleness and pain. Of mischief and wit, but too of resignation and longing.
She is finally free, but freedom comes with many costs... Facing old scars, and acquiring new ones, in a world where happy endings are not set in stone nor are everlasting."
