Turnov: Your life is tragic. You will be cut down before you can even complete a race. YOU are tragic.
Rusty: You really think so?
Turnov, nodding: You make me weep just looking at you. So, so tragic.
Rusty: That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me.
@storyweaverofgondor remember when we became slightly obsessed over Turnov x Rusty a while ago? Well it’s coming back-
I always wanted to draw Pharma effected with the red rust ever sense I read this issue, and just got to do it now. 0v0
Y'know what, "Flashing Lights/Eyestrain Material" should be a community label. If this site can work so hard to keep people from seeing "mature content", it can try and pretend to give a fuck about photosensitive people.
We wouldn't need to deal with people who think they know better than us what is triggering/how to tag it, because we could click a button that marks something as unsafe. Adding an image, GIF, or video to your post could prompt a pop-up similar to " Post without tags?" that tells you to consider whether or not this is safe. We should be able to scroll the #epilepsy tag in peace.
Why not use XKit Rewritten?
XKit Rewritten is helpful, yes, but it doesn't do shit for eyestrain images. And it doesn't pause GIFs in Activity/notifications. And videos still autoplay. Not to mention, I shouldn't have to download an extension just to use the site without getting actual brain damage. That should be in the site itself, and the site should introduce you to its accessibility features inmediatamente.
If this website can keep people from seeing tits and ass (or trans people, intersex people, BIPOC and Palestinians talking about their oppression and liberation), it can keep people from seeing things that can kill.
Not that it will. This website has made it clear it doesn't care about disabled people.
thank the lord i'm such a good liar; otherwise all y'all would hate me
I THINK I FUCKED UP i just sent "licks you" into the askbox of someone i've never talked to :sob:
