The end of one era, and the beginning of another!
Vegan Bakery set to open in the Red Vic!
JB couldn't be happier! It's great to always have new places to work eat available!

Occupy Red Vic Theater is on!
I couldn't be more displeased. You see, I live right next to the Red Vic theater. To clear things up, I'm not talking about a political movement here (for example, one with the sole intent of bringing back this beloved theater), I'm talking about street kids and crackheads sitting outside the vacant theater, begging for money and being noisy. Every night. Every single night. Their 'movement' is growing in numbers as I type. My roommates tell me I go into tunnel vision when I come upon Haight Street. One afternoon, they were yelling my name and chasing me down the street, all to which I was oblivious. You see, this happens because I don't like being sexually harrassed, asked to come home with with or solicited for money that I don't have, every day of my life, every time I walk on my block. So I tune it all out and make a beeline for the front door of our apartment. Not today hippies! Tunnel vision it is. Try to talk to me on Haight Street and you will be ignored!
My internet's been down for five days.
Oh my god. Fuck. I'm at my boo thang's right now but my mom says she got the internet to work at home. I don't know if i should believe her..
On a lighter note, they were selling The Room for $5 on DVD at the Red Vic's poster sale. Happy 21st birthday, baby.
The Red Vic in San Francisco is closing, and today is the last day, and to top it all off, they're showing Harold and Maude and I'm not there.
San Franciscans:
The Red Vic movie house on Haight Street is closing its doors after this weekend. Monday the 25th will be their 31st birthday and their last showing, and they're celebrating by playing Harold and Maude all weekend.
You can get advance tickets for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday at Brown Paper Tickets.
I'll be there at 7:15 on Saturday. :D but also :(
