This is a whispery post. I'm still on Tumblr, I'm just over here now. It's sort of the same but a little different. That is all.

A contented owl and two lucky mice.
For your reference: Owls are not easy to make out of construction paper.
That is all.
Also this one, because it’s cute.
“The angry narwhal thirsts for more blood”
A birthday gift for Avery Burke.
I’m deleting all my old side blogs and found this, the best piece of construction paper art I ever made.
Jordan: Sweetheart, you're looking radiant.
Me, unshowered, crampy, in a bathrobe: I don't feel radiant, but thank you.
Jordan: Well a giant neon sign flashing "Garbage Here" can be radiant too.
An informal poll:
Do any of my current followers remember Banana Snap?
Guess I live with people who like to eat fuckin bugs now 🦗
Two more neck warmers for my other two moms!
I've had these stamps for years and only use them when I'm sending things to people I like because they're ✨so beautiful✨
@pleasedontsqueezetheshhh I'm tagging you because you're the only one I know who will appreciate this Stamp Content™
I know I’m not supposed to compare myself to other people, but I just got home from a playdate at another preschool mom’s house, and it was such a beautiful place I feel like throwing up 😩
It just would be nice if one (1) single time in my life I could feel like I wasn't an outsider.

Inside the disturbing thoughts that haunt new parents.
O.M.F.G.
I wish this article had been written when I was a brand new parent, when these kinds of thoughts plagued me (and Jordan) more often than they do now. I thought they were an extension of the intrusive thoughts I used to have, pre-parenthood, of myself. Turns out they happen to just about every new parent and that's really eye-opening. I feel very comforted, and a lot more normal, after reading this.
You have until 11:59pm CST TONIGHT (12/03) to put in your order for one of these! Don't miss it!
I know I haven’t been around here often. These days I publish books, make comic books, and uh, that’s it.
If you want to stay in touch, you can follow me on Instagram. I have four accounts: my regular Katie West account (mostly photos of Scotland, water, my face, and my cat), my private account (only for people I know offline or have known online for a loooong time), my photography account, and my publishing account.
You can also follow along with my Patreon. If I take naked photos, that’s where they’ll be posted.
I also have my personal twitter and my publishing twitter.
I also have a TinyLetter that I mostly forget about but maybe that will change at some point. You can subscribe here.
By the way, the next book I’m making is an anthology about why internet communities like early days Tumblr and LJ were so special and what sort of lessons we can take from them in order to connect with each other now. It’s called Better Then IRL and the Kickstarter launches in February 2019.
I <3 YOU ALL.
I wish A Christmas Carol had an even stronger influence on Christmas tradition and ghosts became a symbol of the holiday
Even better if terrorising the rich into acts of kindness also became a part of Christmas
That used to be a thing:
I can't find the source for this at the moment, but it was from an article about lesser known Christmas traditions.
Uh oh. I made this neck warmer for someone else, and I like it so much that now I have to make another one for myself 😬
It's been weeks, but I still can't stop wondering who sent me that message about what to do if they saw me in person 🤔
