I’m always super grateful for good news when in a crappy place. Something major happened last month that I’d been waiting on for the past few months too when I was ready to wallow in the depression pit and I’ve been quietly thankful, also out of fear of jinxing it.

Congrats on your major thing! Some things just seem to arrive at the right time. I am also keeping the news under the wraps until everything is finalized. I have someone close to me who doesn’t support this particular mission and I can’t handle (read: will not tolerate) any underhanded sabotage. Jinxing is real and I don’t want no part lol.

God, right? Incidentally the two sandwiches I ate were “cornbeef” the way my dad makes it, mixed with ketchup, mustard, mayo, and lots of homemade peppersauce lol so I guess comfort-eating is in there too

Orange peel tea... im trini idk what its good for tho

Ooh! I’ve actually talked to some other Caribbean peeps on here abt different bush teas. Apparently orange peel is good for colds. And add ginger.
