omg the literal worst thing ever is when fic writers stereotype thor as this big dumb neanderthal with no apparent motor skills or grasp of the english language like no just because loki has always been portrayed as craftier does not make thor an idiot, they obviously received the same standard education, not to mention that its established that thor is actually a very good tactitian and leader and his innate knowledge of geographical history he is not just some mindless beserker swinging his hammer around aimlessly

Yes! Okay I get that this season has flaws. But I had huuuuge issues with the kanima storyline (Matt being ‘dead’ was super weak, it felt like they’d made it up as they went along) and the darach not only makes a lot more sense, it ties into the Alpha pack plot line really well too. Also, you can see where Julie/Jennifer is coming from with her determination to take down the alphas. Much less so the murder of innocents, but I think it’s important for a baddie’s motivations to make sense.

And I do think characterization has been more solid. Especially with Scott, Lydia, and Peter (PETER OH MY GOD). So although Derek is a total mess, I might like this season better than s2 overall

Edit: okay, if you just take the darach stuff, yes. Boyd dying and basically everything surrounding Derek is still totally bonkers.
