just a little chart of my characters and how they fit on this axis that i decided to measure them on. yes, some of these have not appeared in canon yet, but they have existed in my head for longer and you guys are getting a sneak peak.
this is probably going to bring my fity one side blogs to sixty/seventy at this rate.
Silver (23) and their daughter (Esmé - 3 years old)
the DAMN rp crew's story is about people who feel or have felt fundamentally alone and unworthy of love who are so devoted to each other that it hurts. and it's the start of learning what it feels like to not be so alone.
Some Pidge fun facts
Pidge has some of the messiest handwriting ever. pure chicken scratch that only she can read.
Pidge was in foster care for four years
they learned a lot about how to pick locks and get into places from a friend they had in middle school. this came in handy with a lot of stuff that happened later on as well as getting food when one foster family was neglecting the kids they were taking care of
foster care was really a mixed bag for her. the last family they stayed with was actually really sweet. she hasn't kept in contact with them though.
the guitar they have now is one of the only things that they kept from the house they grew up in. it was a birthday gift from her dad before he died.
fire elemental magic is one of the hardest types of magic for them to use
on the other hand, electro energetic magic has come easily to her
Pidge has dimples
they sometimes draw a smiley face on their wrist to remind themself to smile and that things will be ok
she taught herself a lot of the healing methods she used while in Georgia, getting ahold of whatever magic textbooks she could by fishing them out of dumpsters or chatting with Allan's grandma. they had to get creative in particular situations and so that's where some Pidge original variations on healing methods came about, especially the one with pulling blood from people's lungs.
she can't stand the smell of peppermint
their favorite flavor of monster is Rio Punch
her favorite musical is Hadestown (she got Allan into that one), but it's a tie between Epic and Wicked for second
they chipped one of their front teeth in a game of leapfrog when they were eight

Anteros - dead
Asteria - slicer
Sooo can I ask like what happened, what’s the injuries?
ok, so Pidge has lost almost all her hearing, is currently very triggered, has third degree burns on her right hand, second degree burns covering most of her torso and arms as well as legitimate mental wounds
the hearing loss is from the small very purposeful explosions that the fire elemental did by her ears to fuck up her hearing. third degree burns are also the fire elemental's fault. Leo (that motherfucker) was trying to break their mind but since Pidge had been working on learning telepathy, they were able to defend against that some and avoid the worst of the damage, but he did break a few parts of their mind, like the part that compartmentalizes things. the second degree burns are from when her core flared and she manifested a large wave of fire elemental magic that burned Leo but also her since the way that it manifested was in literally making her skin too hot to touch or interact with. this is a trauma response right there.
essentially Closeknit was trying to hurt Pidge and take her out of action in order to hurt the DAMN RP crew and stop them from interfering further in their plans because Pidge has been key to keeping pretty much everyone alive and functioning.
