I missed you romiii!!!ヽ(*´^`)ノ I miss seeing your fics scattered across my feed, it's been a while. I hope the year's been kind to youuu. I reread your Davey & Milo fics on Ao3 more than my notes hahaha. Hoping to see another masterpiece from you (*^3^)/~☆
Hi, Anon! Thank you so much for reaching out! That's so lovely to hear. And I'm SO happy to know you enjoy my fics! I'm not sure why I'm not showing up on your feed lately, but I'm happy I did today. It's true, I did write fewer fics in 2025 than previous years, but I did manage to post 10 additional chapters to my oneshot collection, Snapshots of Dahlia and complete four multi-chapter fics this year. Always happy to share with this community! It's possible that the decline in engagement as of late means the works don't show up as frequently on blogs. But all that aside, we've crossed paths today and that's awesome!
As for a new fic, "masterpiece" is a kind compliment, but all I can say is I try my best. I AM working on one (albeit slowly, as is my vibe.) It's a Redactedverse/Mulan AU! I previously posted a snippet you can find here, and since you were so kind to stop by my inbox today, I will leave another snippet in case you're interested! Thanks again, Anon!
Still… Greg wasn’t naive. Angel was the only one of the trio who had yet to find their match. Now Geordi had his cute telepath partner and Treasure, their vampire named Porter. Both loved his children with their whole hearts. If Angel could find an empowered partner as Gerodi and Treasure had, Greg could breathe a little easier. He wouldn’t need to worry about his youngest’s prospects any longer.
“Alpha Greg!” Angel called, carrying a tray of roasted nuts, assorted meats, and a variety of cheeses as they weaved through Aggro’s dizzying route.
“Angel…” Greg began in that nagging tone he often took with them. He eyed the food, deciding between a piece of turkey or a handful of nuts.
Jingly ball forgotten at the scent of the platter, Aggro leapt up onto the tray to snatch the piece of turkey right out of Greg’s fingers.
“Ah!” Angel quickly scolded, though they did take the opportunity to remove the almost-bare duster from Aggro’s collar. “No problem. There’s venison here,” they pointed.
Greg’s annoyance was not meat-related. “Angel…”
“You know what the healer said,” Angel affirmed, hoping that avoidance might finally be an effective method to steer the conversation away from anything but their upcoming match. “High protein throughout the day will help you retain the muscle you do have.”
“Angel…”
Angel took the opportunity to shove a slice of venison into Greg’s open mouth. It was savory and perfectly cured. He couldn’t help the smile as he chewed. “Angel,” he said after swallowing and reaching for another. “You should already be in town. I’m counting on you to…”
“To uphold the pack’s reputation,” Angel finished. “Don’t worry, Alpha Greg. I won’t let you down.” They shoved the plate into Greg’s waiting hands and turned on their heel. “Wish me luck!”
