Humiliation Round. Why was this a thing that the Administrator had implemented? Was it to shame the losers? Give the winners some free kills after the battle was all said and done? Dell didn’t quite see the charm in it.

For while he was a murderer himself, Dell didn’t participate in Humiliation Round when it was his team that won. He’d deactivate his Sentry, his Dispenser, anything else, and head right back to his workshop. It was plausible, a waste of his time and everyone else’s. He didn’t count it as a destresser. 

Rarely was it when Red’s came running down this way. It was out of the way and far closer to the Blu’s side of the battlefield. So he didn’t bother deactivating his Sentry this time around. He went to work, collecting some spare bits of metal as he heard the carnage from far ahead.

A twitch; blue eyes flicked upwards at a sudden noise.

Footsteps. Coming this way?

These days, it’s a sick sort of thrill he has when he knows he’s got the upper hand. Michael loves the feeling of it, the power in it, and how he feels about it most of all. The hands scrabbling, hitting, and punching fruitlessly at his leg only makes this that much more fun.

It’s not every day Michael gets someone by the neck, but the thrill is there and presenting itself.

Pressing hard into the Scout’s windpipe, he resists the inane urge to simply crush him right there and then. There’s a part of him that’d rather see the life drain out of his eyes as all breath escaped his lungs. A monster is what some claimed him to be. A savage beast that toys with prey before killing them in gruesomely sick ways. 

“Aw...what’s wrong?” Mick taunts down at him, the maddening glint in his eyes showing no hints of mercy or guilt over this.

“Cat got your tongue now, loud mouth?”

The grip on the kid’s shirt in unrelenting. It’s so easy to pin the twerp up against the wall, forcing him to be on the tips of his toes. God, just seeing him so terrified nearly makes a sick grin split across his face. But the Heavy isn’t here for that. No. He’s looking for someone. She went and got out. Had to find her.

And he had an inkling that this brat would know.

“Shut the hell up.” He seethes, using his anger to bash the kid against the wall once before settling him against it again. “And tell me. Where. The fuck. Is Pauling?” A location was all he needed. The Heavy couldn’t let her get away with all that information.
