daily amnesia and the symbol of peace as a street worker - blending out what does not fit into our perception, triggering the question who defines our perception, especially in this commercial space - an intellectual intervention for Red Bull - Gauthier Oushoorn triggers the question by creating obvious contradictions in daily life situations, every visitor passed by even though looking for the works. A street lamp on the roof of a building where at the same time you can see through the open window, it only shines onto a roof and the room behind the lamp is indoors and the pigeons, whose shadow you see behind the buttermilk window of the door, illuminated by the street lamp, are indoors as well. You see and you don’t see. There is also an emotional twist: light for the birds that clean our streets every day and are treated in return as a pest.
