Here is a humble tomato from my garden .. one of the last .. sob sob 😭😭. . Well I do have a 3 bags of tomatoes in the freezer .. but you know.. 🤣. . So I thought I d tell you briefly how to collect the seeds - . . It’s pretty simple - you cut up your tomato - re move the seeds - pop them in any old clean glass jar - half fill it with water .. put it on the window ledge .. and here’s the bit you might not like — let it all ferment till it’s got an green over coat on .. then tip it out into a sieve - and wash it all off the tomato seeds.. that gets rid of the jelly .. then leave them in the sieve to dry out .. !! . . Bobs your uncles cousins aunty .. you have your own tomato seeds to grow next year ! FREE seeds !! . . I put mine in paper envelopes.. I think they might sweat other wise !! . . If you don’t want to do this .. I ll have seeds for sale on @fairyhill_crafts_ website - that I grew this year - they will be a random mix in the packet - between salad red tomatoes - bigger red tomatoes- cherry tomatoes and those amazing yellow tomatoes!! . . I ll pop then on the website tomorrow evening - I have a batch already waiting and tested at their germination rate - and all the seeds germinated !! 🙌🙌I m so proud!! Also next week I ll have crown prince squash seeds . . And micro green mixed seeds. . .
