it had only been a week since maddox had to say his goodbyes to autumn, and it had been so hard for the both of them - mainly because they weren't sure when they would see each other again, especially with how demanding and inflexible his job could be. the two weren't constantly calling and texting and snapchatting and facetiming, but it wasn't the same as being together, and it was killing him. he needed her present with him, sleeping in the same bed together, that constant reassurance that she was right beside him, figurativley and literally. thats why after only a few days of being seperated from each other, he had started plotting a surprise visit to her, where he would ask if she would be willing to move in with him - which of course, came with the question of her being his official girlfriend as well. he knew it was a huge step to take and a lot to ask of her, especially when they hadn't known each other that long, but maddox truly believed they were destined to be together, and he couldn't live with himself if he didn't at least take a chance with it. since the two were in contact digitally almost 24/7, it wasn't hard to figure out her daily routine and when to best surprise her. he also had a giant database for all the information for every citizen at his fingertips that may have assisted with that as well. nervously, he sat in the cafe she had frequented every day for a cup of coffee for the past month according to her transaction history, at around the same time of 11 am. he had a bouquet of flowers sat on the table in front of him, along with a cappucino he had been sipping on since arriving some minutes earlier incase autumn had showed up before her usual time. he wanted to actually, truly surprise her by seeing her in a place she wouldn't expect, but if it ended up he had to go knock on her door instead, that wouldn't be the worst thing. thankfully, almost like clockwork, the man watched her walk through the door and nearly lost his breath. although it hadn't been long since last seeing her in person, he couldn't believe just how beautiful she truly was. screens couldn't do her any justice, and he almost felt sorry for anyone who only was able to experience her through the screen of her livestreams or her instagram posts. but, the more he thought about it, the less bad he felt. she was about to be his girl anyways - well, hopefully. a grin spread across his features as he stood up from his seat with the bouquet, stepping in front of her walk way. "well now, who would expect to see you here of all places?" he teased, attempting to gauge her reaction. [ @redcvrpet ]

it’s  a  common  belief  amongst  almost  everyone  that  people  with  younger  siblings  might  fall  prey  to  the  gentler  souls  of  the  world.  and  while  he  had  certainly  shrunk  his  inner  stoicism  and  tossed  it  to  the  side  for  his  younger  sister  blair,  this  was  not  always  the  case  with  any  and  everyone.  for  the  most  part,  he  liked  to  remain  behind  his  wall.  what  was  the  point  of  coming  from  behind  it  to  be  judged  ?  if  his  family  couldn’t  accept  him,  who  would  ?  for  this  reason  alone,  he’ll  use  whatever  fight  he’s  got  left  in  him  not  to  let  this  wall  come  crumbling  down  for  someone  who  hints  at  being  deserving.  so  despite  whatever  wooing  he’s  done  to  draw  this  person  to  his  side,  his  attempt  to  separate  himself  whenever  they  were  too  close,  was  simply  too  obvious.  ❝  is  something  wrong  ?  ❞  a  first  for  him  voicing  concern  so  openly,  so  immediately.  for  something  he’s  likely  to  have  caused.  he’d  much  rather  make  them  laugh  or  smile  than  frown  but  it’s  never  been  intentional.  like  everything  else.    ❝  is  the  food  bad  ?  ❞  it’s  expensive.  well  prepared.  anything  but.  yet  it’s  his  first  attempt  at  a  guess  for  the  lack  of  happiness  at  the  table.

                   ❝ i found this cute little board at a thrift shop. ❞ it seemed pretty old world, although most human board games seemed old world to the alien. on murk, most games were either played on computers or holograms...which were essentially fancy computers. pulling the object of the hour out of her shopping bag, it was a pink ouija board. ❝ do you know how to play it? it was too cute not to resist and the clerks seemed happy to give it to me for almost nothing. ❞

Being around humans without glamours wasn’t exactly something that was encouraged ( or allowed, if he were to get technical ) but he figured that it would be fine with Hyeri. The worst that would happen is that she ends up telling people and looking crazy. “Just close your eyes and keep them closed until I say.”

 "sarang! lets go brush your teeth, sweet pea. daddy is gonna be home any minute now.” a small smirk spreads across maeum’s lips after calling her boss ‘daddy’. of course, in this case, it’s in the most innocent sense of the word - but that’s not to say she wouldn’t mind referring to him as daddy once in a while in a not so innocent sense for her own pleasure. the moment she laid eyes on the man upon their first interview for the position, she instantly knew she wanted him. as time went on, and she saw how wonderful of a father he was, and how kindhearted he was despite his profession, maeum knew she had to have him. she had began her subtle hints weeks ago, and whether he picked up on them or not was questionable. the woman knew she had to ramp it up just a little, just to see if he showed any inkling of interest back. after helping the child brush her teeth and change into her pajamas, the duo waddle out to the living room, sarang holding a story book in her tiny hands as maeum sets her on the couch right next to her. the little girl instantly crawls in her lap, causing maeum’s short skirt to slide even higher up her thigh, and she begins to read the exact same book that was picked last night as a bed time story. just as they were getting to the good part, the front door clicks open. “oh, hello mr. jung. welcome home.”

playing hooky from work to attend a comic con that was in town wasn’t exactly one of maddox’s finest moments - but in his defense, he hadn’t been to a convention since he was in high school! that was ages ago! surely his team could manage without him for the two days he would be enjoying himself. a grin lights up his face as he traverses the dealers room by himself, eyes dancing across all the different, colorful figurines and merchandise. it’s not until he’s at one of the last booths in the row he spots a familiar face from the corner of his eye. well, familiar in the sense that he’s seen her before, but never in person. autumn is one of the few twitch streamers he actually watches - and no, it’s not just because she’s a beautiful girl... although its not like that doesn’t come as an added bonus. normally, the man would be too shy to approach her, or any stranger he hadn’t met in person in public like this. but something about being at a place where he’s surrounded by other nerds and feels in his element heightens his confidence. maddox strides over to her, and gently taps her on the shoulder. “umm, hi, autumn?” he smiles softly, running a hand nervously through his hair. “i’m a big fan. you’re a great streamer. i watched your pubg matches yesterday, actually. it was great. you totally were cheated out of one of those wins though.” a small nervous chuckle escapes his lips.
