I've always been confused about Kin's, and never really understood it.. could you explain it to me? You don't have to, but it would be very appreciated ^^'', Thanks! -Redd anon

Sure!! I’m not very good at explaining it myself, but I’ll give it a shot.Kin is kind of like feeling such a strong connection to a character that you identify with them, I suppose. Depending on the person, that can be a weaker or stronger identification, like how many, including myself, go as far as to say it was a past life (which is a canon for fic-kins usually). You may also just like to identify with them and say they’re your kin, and that’s the length you go to. There’s not really any rules to it? You identify your own kins so it’s different for everyone. Also, many people get memories from their canons, which is what people base their canon calls on. But, there are also just as many people who don’t get memories!Oh, and kin isn’t limited to characters either! Many people also kin with animals, plants, objects, etc. like stars or succulents!
