Someone recently ran into Aidan in Cavan and posted on Reddit asking: “Would you ask a celebrity for a photo if you met them out & about?” That quickly turned into a comment section full of Aidan stories, which is honestly worth the read if you enjoy low-stakes celebrity lore.

Highlights include multiple people casually confirming that he loves Fallon & Byrne, that he’s almost a regular sighting on Baggot Street, and one particularly memorable moment where he apparently fell into the pub Bruxelles while drunk and had to be lifted off the floor. There is photo evidence. I wish I were joking.

One shorter anecdote stood out: a Reddit user once served Aidan and Camille while working as a waiter, without knowing they were a couple at the time. They nearly commented to Camille about a “famous Irish actor” in the restaurant, but realised just in time who she was actually dining with. Safe to say, they were relieved when the two left together.

Overall though, the consensus is very consistent: he’s described as open, friendly, and generally fine with photos if approached normally.
