Why are redditors so fucking rude????

When i post cute and wholesome headcanons about tf2 mercenaries, some little kids and neckbeards harrass me there!!!!

Medic canonically is traumatized, has ptsd, anxious, and has memory loss!!! But these psychopaths say "actually, It's not accurate to the t-" stfu!!!! I want to punch them so much!!!

They think medic's tragic backstory and homosexuality with heavy is "fanon" but they think mimi sentry is a canon character???

Excuse me???? These are the same people who say "reddit is free speech".

Reddit is full of crazy psychopaths who won't take tragedies seriously!!!!

Honestly I should just leave the ao3 subreddit bc there's so much there that makes me mad.

I am not a teenager and have been in fandom spaces for over a decade but calling everyone "kid" because they don't know the meaning to a specific tag or something like it (especially if it pertains to us-american culture) is just demeaning and makes me wanna be mad on behalf of the even younger people.

Y'all harp on all day long about how fandom spaces are adult spaces (rightfully so) but won't just accept/presume that the people you are talking to/about are adults too.

Maybe you are (much) older and remember whatever the tag etc. was originally referencing but not everybody is that old or involved in that (american) culture at that time.

Also sometimes things change meaning over time or lose significance, that does not mean that people are willfully ignorant or stupid kids.

You can kindly educate someone but don't be a dick

I could rant about reddit for hours. It's terrible. Main point, Mods sucks at their job. They don't know how to run a community. It's almost impossible to make a post, and it won't get deleted for some reason. That's way the best sub reddits are the insane ones. You can do whatever. It's like a drunken party.

Idk what is actually happening, but Reddit is not giving me some slack.

I have a lot of ghost followers or the people just hate my content. Idk which is true, or if it's just Reddit telling me that I deserve it after not posting for so long.

But I hate this. People don't appreciate the content I give, and some get impatient for the comics that take a hell of a long time to do. So idk what to do with this. Should I just never post on there again until they give me a proper answer as to why they are ghosting me, or should I continue to give content that they may not appreciate because they just want the fucking comics?

I honestly don't know, I'm just in tears right now.

I hate using this this term

I hate hate hate hate hate using this term.

But whenever I read or listen to a Reddit story and see comments of "fake" "AI" "OP is obviously a fanfiction writer" or something along those lines, I am thinking "This commentor is a NPC stuck in a dialogue loop."

I hate thinking of actual people as NPCs but, 9 times out of 10, their comment history consists of calling any Reddit story they find fake or AI.

Bro, if you think every story you read on Reddit is fake or AI, why are you still on the fucking site?

And what's concerning is that most of those stories they call fake or AI are about abuse victims escaping their abuser.
