Try a raw egg over their food! It's healthy and good for them (shiny coat and healthy skin) and it seems like a special treat to them :)

Interesting... might try that sometime with Max.  Though it turns out these two fluff balls really are picky eaters. So we’ll have two (my doxie and a chihuahua lab mix) who practically inhale their food (not exactly a good thing), and the two Poms who pick one piece out at a time to eat.  It may take us an hour to get done with breakfast lol

reddominae Another suggestion that occurred to me after posting that... don't necessarily trust your immediate first impressions. My experience is that the first scene out of the character creator, particularly the hideously unfortunate lighting in Vancouver in ME3) is not always a fully representative picture of what they're going to look like the rest of the game. Matty made some really weird faces in the Cerberus station in ME2 and looked really whack in Vancouver, but he ended up looking great in most of the rest of both games. :P

Favorite YA character? Jack from the "Bloody Jack" series! Young orphan street rat Mary disguises herself as a boy aka "Jack" and becomes a cabin boy on a ship in Britain's Royal Navy. There's adventure and high stakes and even some romance and she's just this girl who takes her fate into her own hands and just dominates! Sure she makes mistakes and has to live with those consequences sometimes but she is woman and hear her roar!(If you know this series I will like you even more than I do now!)

Well I haven’t actually read that series but I definitely know of it (huzzah for volunteering in the Library’s Teen area).
