“Sev, here take this with you to Rory’s room today.”
Sev looked up from his spot at the front desk of the Inn. He had been covering for Anju while she had some errands to run. The whole time she was gone he had been fidgety and antsy. It had been a couple days since the fight between Rory and Link, and Rory still hadn’t woken up. Sev had been in his room in the clinic constantly until today. Last night the doctor had ordered Sev to go home and get some sleep. Severe had protested for an hour before he had finally given in to the doctor’s orders.
And now Anju was back. A full bouquet of yellow and red flowers in her hands. She held them out to Sev.
“These are from the hilltop behind the town. I know Rory likes to go there often, right?” Her smile was soft and she set the flowers on the desk when Sev didn’t grab them from her.
Severe was quiet for a long moment. Staring at the flowers before him. He felt like this whole thing was his fault. If he hadn’t come to Kakariko...then Rory wouldn’t have been hurt he...
“Sev stop it!” Anju suddenly exclaimed, and Sev’s head shot up to meet her gaze, “I’ve seen that look on so many faces before in this Inn and I can tell what your thinking! Now get up, and go check on Rory. ...I heard he woke up.”
“What?!” Sev’s eyes widened and stood up from his seat in an instant, knocking the chair down behind him, “H-He..?” Severe’s heart beat fast and he left spun around the desk to run out the door.
“Sev! The flowers! I handpicked them-” Anju stopped as she heard the door slam behind Sev. With a sigh, she shook her head, then smiled. Grabbing the flowers, she walked to put them in a vase.

‘Rory!’
Sev didn’t even bother talking to the girl in the lobby of the clinic. She knew who he was here for. Running through the halls of the building, Sev tried his best to avoid the nurses and doctors at work. Many of them yelled at him.
He didn’t care.
Sev didn’t even stop to knock at Rory’s door. He just opened it.
