to think it is makes you a fool
grave error
"why are we always so tired"
bear my teeth
the insane feeling of power that rests on you is riveting. you feel as though any word you say can come to life in a second if you will it too. you not only have the power: you are the power. - redinkbooks
it seems fun at the moment, too be miserable and dark. to be careless and reckless. but then this terrifying wave of fear hits you, not fear like there's a monster under my bed, but fear like I'm going to die and the people around me are going to die and I'm doing nothing about it. monsters don't scare me. loneliness scares me. failing scares me. disaster scares me.
I had so much time to prepare, to gather information, resources, but instead, I used the precious time given to me, dreaming and waiting, wasting and hoping that somehow my purpose will come to me. That it would be delivered on a platter and I'll be ready to get up and dust myself off and grab it. Grab it and take off and be the warrior I am always meant to be.
well, you dumb fool, that will never happen. And you can sit here and feed your laziness, feed your obsession, and feed the lies you've prepared yourself. I can promise you that if you continue down that destructive path, you will get nothing but a wasted body and a wasted soul. Nothing remotely good will come out of your life; you'd be considered wasted space, a miserable mishap, a reckless disturbance. and you'll be forgotten five years from your death.
people will never remember your name, your memory, your history Because there would be nothing of you to remember.
It might be yours, the destiny on a platter, but it has to be earned, it has to fought for with blood and sacrifice.
And if you aren't remotely worthy of it, it will be passed on. It will find another soul. and it won't be yours. The way you spend your life is the way you'll die, the way you'll spend your life is the way you'll spend your eternity. You reap what you sow. And you sow laziness, worthlessness, ignorance. So you will reap a destiny void of all but tiredness, confusion, and depression.
