Perfect (OuaT,  Dorothy/Ruby)

Ruby was nervous about feeling nervous.

She really didn’t want to be nervous and she knew she had nothing to be scared about. It was just a bed. Dorothy's bed. The bed that Dorothy was leading her to by the hand.

Dorothy's hand was warm and so perfect in hers. They fit so well. How can just holding hands with someone feel so right?

They were about to have their first time. More than that Ruby was about to have her first time with a woman. Her thoughts were a swirl of expectations and hopes and fantasies and...Dorothy.

Dorothy turned to her, still holding her hand. She must have seen the nervousness on her face, or maybe she felt Ruby's hand shaking. "Still okay?"

Ruby nodded. "Very." She was nervous yes, but excited too.

Dorothy squeezed Ruby’s hand gently as she stepped in closer, her other hand cupped Ruby’s face. “You’re so beautiful.”

“You’re beautiful,” Ruby grinned and leaned in. Their lips met, soft and sweet. Ruby’s arms wrapped around Dorothy, hugging her tight. There had been a void in her heart so long and kissing Dorothy filled it to bursting. Their kisses deepened and they moved to the bed.

Holding hands felt perfect. Kissing was heaven. Ruby couldn’t wait to find out what making love with Dorothy felt like.

Not going to lie, Megan Ory killed it in the episode. She made that episode

And I honestly enjoyed watching most of it. It wasn’t perfect and it’s pathetic that I’m content with breadcrumbs but seeing such a beautiful development as a queer couple appear on the screen gives me hope. I want to be so angry with the writers because they’re doing it to shut is up, but I also want to stand up for this couple that already is getting a lot of hate. And to anyone who is too homophobic and is bashing on the show… I feel sorry for you to be so closed minded has to be so awful, you must live a miserable life.
