Organic Red Pears

My running days are going really well and Vienna by my side who really enjoys  chasing anything that moves - especially me.  The weather is perfect here with blue skies and sun.  We run in the morning and she gets anxious for longer runs but I have to slow her down.  The flyball lets her really go full speed all out. She constantly amazes me with her intelligence and eagerness to learn.  An exercised dog is a happy dog.  The Purple Band:

The progress on my unassisted pullups is coming along.  I try pullups without any assistance but I only budge an inch and sorta get lopsided when I struggle to pull hard.  Eventually I tried it with the purple band which is the last of the thinner band, using that band I got within 3 inches of the bar on my pullup.  I felt good and I see progress and most importantly I keep focused with the goal because it transfers to other aspects of Crossfit. 

The handstand challenge is going better now that I'm have way through the month and feeling a difference is my agility to get up on the wall.  Kicking up happened a few times but I got so freaked out by hitting the wall I come back down fast.  Now, I realize I don't have to throw my legs as hard as I use to and need to practice much more controlled movements with balance and grace, I'm not quite the graceful butterfly I want to be...yet.   The gymnast girls in my class make it look so elegant and beautiful to walk on their hands.   When I see other people move I realize how much buoyancy it takes to stay up...just like standing right?
