The counter had reached zero when she was twelve years old, she'd demanded she join the team-- she'd demanded that she argue with them. She'd demanded she be where they were-- but it was Tim and Kon. She didn't know which... not which one had stopped her clock, not which one that she was destined for.

Years passed, she hadn't gotten a good look at Kon's clock, he kept it hidden-- she didn't mind hers being seen. But over the years things had changed-- Tim had nearly died-- her heart had almost stopped and that had been when she'd gotten to Kon's arm-- it still ticked away-- tick, tick... and hers was stopped.

She sought out Tim not long after, walking into the apartment as she often did. He'd always been careful to guard his clock, as if he didn't want to know-- she met his eyes in that moment-- lifting her wrist to show him that there were zeros where there should have been time and she waited. But he didn't move...

"Why did you let me think it was him?" she asked her voice quiet as she moved across the room, "Why didn't you tell me it was you?" She knew better, her hands moved to his wrist-- but they were shaking as she pulled his gloves off his hands...
