Not feeling to well and my back is playing up 😑 I think I stood up too long yesterday and today so I'm paying for that now but I managed to capture this quickly. Stretches; hamstrings, groin and ankles. Benefits; Strengthens legs and ankles, improves balance and focus. Instructions; 1. From mountain pose bring your right knee to your belly. 2. Reaching your right arm forward, on the inside of your thigh, crossing over the right ankle and grabbing the outside of the right foot. Note: if your hamstrings are too tight grab a yoga strap or scarf and hook it on the sole of your foot and holding the other end. I'll show you how in the video. 3. Engage your standing leg and check that your foot is grounded evenly. 4. Inhale and straighten your right leg forward, straight in front of you. Straightening as much as possible. Keep breathing and try to find balance; you may need to move your arm around a bit to do so or use the wall. 5. Slowly bring your leg to the outside while keeping hips straight and lift it up (keep it straight!) as high as you can. If you start to bend stop and hold there. Hold for 5-10 breaths. Slowly exhale and bring leg straight in front of you, bending the knee and releasing your hand while you slowly place it back on the ground.
