Fine, fine. Karuna was an old friend of mine, from the War. She isn't with us anymore, and I don't really want to talk about it.

Well... How do I put this?

*He puts a hand to his chin in thought before he answers.*

Stella and I go way back. I remember buying her pretty cheap from someone a long while ago, so I kind of had to do a lot of maintenance on her myself. (Mitchell helped with a lot of it, actually. She's his as much as she's mine.)

*He stares at a point somewhere in the distance, probably thinking something through before he says it.*

I think when I got her it was a sort of treat, since I wasn't actually sure whether I trusted myself behind the wheel again until then.

*He sighs.* It takes surprisingly long to recover emotionally from a crash. I wouldn't recommend it. But, if you surround yourself with the right people...

It gets easier. You just have to wait and work it out, and you'll be driving down highways at the speed limit in no time!

Well, I used to do astrophotography, if that's anything. Sawyer suggested I enter some competitions, so I did. One of my favourite pieces was, hmm. I managed to catch a comet once, on the motorway. I drove all the way out and...

I might've won an award or two, I can't remember now. It was a long time ago.
