"Oi! You seen my spare blanket? I think Joanna's run off with it an' I can't sleep without it." The Sniper was sniffling, wiping his nose on his sleeve as he appeared to be fighting a cold. "That sneaky sidewinder's gonna be th' death of me."
The sniffling was what alerted the croc before Percy's voice had reached his ears, eyes glancing up from where he was perched on the couch, a blanket wrapped around himself, tail tucked up between his legs, as best it could be. Hard to bed something that was made almost entirely of muscle, after all.
He slowly shook his head, trying to think of if he had seen Joanna running around with a blanket, if he saw Joanna at all."I'm sorry Percy, I can't say I've seen her at all, let alone with a blanket." He shifted, tail flopping down, before he moved to stand up."I can help you look though, if you want? I'm sure two people lookin' is better than just you. Especially when yer sick." The younger Aussie shifted to take the blanket from himself and drape it over the lizard's shoulders, a small smile on his lips as he gave his back a pat.
"We can ask around if anyone else has seen her. I'm sure it's hard to miss a goanna her size."
