He stood there for a moment, gazing at his fiance’s weapon. He knew he wasn’t going to hurt him, but still. He then turned his attention to the man in front of him. He wasn’t mad, no matter how hard he tried to get himself to feel angered at him for leaving all those months, without even saying goodbye. He just couldn’t do it.
“Mick…”
He paused, never taking his eyes off of him.
“May I come in?”
His eyes met Vincent’s for a moment, the sniper feeling as though his breaths were caught in his chest. What the hell was going through that mind of his? Did Spy hate him? Was he going to come in and tear into him? His thoughts were interrupted for a moment as the other spoke, Mundy lowering his weapon.
“.. Y-Yeah. Of course.”
Stepping aside, he let Spy enter, his grip on the kukri’s handle tightening.
“... So. How are you?”
After finally finishing a contract mission, Spy decided it would be best to hit the hay for the night. He made his way back to base and was going to head in, but he spotted something. It was Sniper's van, after all this time, he was finally back. Forget the base, he quickly made his way to the van, straightened his tie, and knocked on the door.
the sniper woke up with a start, drawing his kukri from underneath the pillow. who the hell could be knocking on his door at this late hour?? getting up from the bed and stomping to the handle, he opened it up quick and raised his weapon-- when he saw.
spy.
his heart about stopped, fear being his first emotion. he hadn’t seen his fiance in months after he had ran off. what did vincent want?
❝i-i uh.. vince. i.. meant t’.. um.❞

“Oh. Um.. This is sudden…” He wasn’t sure if Mick was kidding about this or not. “Where would we go? And isn’t it a violation to our contracts?”
“I dunno. Just wanna get away from everythin’ is all. I don’t wanna do it alone either.”
"It’s thundering so loud."
Rainy Day Starters
He doesn’t really respond, sitting on the floor and staring out the window. The noise didn’t seem to phase the sniper whatsoever.
redsuitedspook:
"Sniper! Thank god your alive… For a minute I thought I lost you for good." You could hear the sound of relief in his voice, although it was still a little shaky. He had lost complete control of his emotions. "Sniper.. I need you to come back.. Please.."
He can't believe who it was on the phone. Honestly, he thought it was a telemarketer, or some old friend of his parents. No, it had to be Spook, who sounded desperate and worried.
Something he had hoped to avoid hearing.
".. I can't," he spoke at first, his voice shaking, "I can't come back. I'm already--" Fuck. He started choking up already, and he wasn't even on the phone with Vincent for five minutes.
redsuitedspook:
"I was wondering… When… When do you want to get married?"
".. Not now. Especially since you're still workin'."
